Membership of the Sewing School Club
The sewing school club gives you access to advice and guidence of t
wo telephone calls each month to plan and engage your learning. One-to-one tuition is available to you on request at a time and cost suitable.
Modules : How they Work
Each module covers an area of learning. Modules 1-9 pertain to every garment we ever make. Modules 10-20 give you the tuition you will require for an individual style. In The Sewing School people making different garments come together in a class and choose the relevant Sewing Techniqes and make a sample.
Schedule
Regular Classes:
Tuesdays, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Thursdays, 4:00-6:00 p.m.
Saturdays, 1:00-4:00 p.m.
Other possibilities for classes are during the day on weekdays, as well as on Saturday mornings.
Costs
Each hour can be devoted to a Module and cost £15, plus the cost of fabrics and notions for sample making.
The Evening session of 2 hours with 2 Modules will be £25. Discounts are available, please ask.
Requirements
For absolute beginners, advice will be given regarding Tools, Machines, Patterns, and Fabrics. If you have yosur own tools and if you have a portable sewing machine that would be most helpful for particular Modules. you may have Paper Patterns and Fabric to bring.
Bringing your property in to the Studio is at your own risk.
